Espar Hydronic L3 - 24V

The Espar/Eberspaecher Hydronic L3 24V is Espar's/Eberspaecher current-generation large-format coolant heater, engineered for demanding applications in off-highway equipment, motor coaches, marine vessels, and heavy-duty fleet vehicles. Available in BTU outputs of 55,000, 82,000, 102,000 BTU, and 120,000 configurations, the L3 delivers reliable, fuel-efficient cabin and engine heating in environments where performance and durability are non-negotiable. A 12V variant is also available in the 102,300 BTU boxed construction model.

Available Configurations:

• Compact Version — Ships pre-assembled with the coolant pump, fuel filter assembly, and shut-off valve already mounted on the heater body. Reduces installation time, simplifies serviceability, and is the most popular choice for new installations.
• Heater Only — The heater unit by itself, without any accessories. Choose this option if you already have compatible components or are replacing a heater in an existing installation.
• Accessories À La Carte — Build your own kit by adding exactly what you need: coolant pump, wire harness, fuel filter, shut-off valve, and other installation components are available individually. Ideal for custom applications or partial upgrades.

Upgrading from a Generation 2(HL-II) Heater?

Wire harness adapters are required when upgrading from an older Generation 2 heater to the L3. You will need:

• Adapter Cable HL2 Heater to HL3 Main Harness — connects the L3 heater to your existing HL-II main harness
• Water Pump Adapter Cable HL2-HL3 — connects the L3 to your existing HL-II water pump wiring
